Observations:

March, 2016 – Shore has found himself in the lineup in 60 of the Kings 67 games this season, and has proven himself to be an excellent defensive pivot. In fact, he currently is the league leader in Corsi for Percentage (CF%) at 60.79%. Unfortunately, for fantasy hockey, he is still irrelevant, as he has only scored nine points (three goals and six assists) in 60 games.  Despite driving possession, he is playing 3rd or 4th line minutes, and seems to be set to play a defensive role.  Philip Kamhi

April 2015 – Shore's 2014-15 AHL success was probably goosed by an unsustainable 19.8 shooting %, which doubled his 2013-14 proficiency. In addition, he didn't create much offense on LA's fourth line when he was called up. A fine two-way pivot who should have a long NHL career, the Denver native still appears to be more third-liner than top-six. Sheng Peng

June 2013 – On April 13 Nick Shore signed a three-year entry level contract with the L.A Kings. Shore finished his season with the University of Denver leading the team in goals with 14 and tying the team lead in assists with 20. It's possible that he could make a debut in the 2013-2014 season with the Kings. Jimmy Tarzia

November 2012 – Shore won’t wow you with his physical skills, but the package of skill, hockey sense and versatility is pretty impressive. He also has no real weakness to his game, as his skating, passing and shooting are all above-average. The Denver University junior is coming off a season in which he posted 41 points in 43 games for the Pioneers. Shore sees the ice very well, thus is a very good playmaker, but needs to shoot more. Rich Dillon

Fantasy Outlook:  B-

Worth a look because of a breakout AHL campaign, but remember that he's blocked by Kopitar and Carter in Los Angeles.
