Observations:

May 2015 – Azevedo continues to flourish in Europe–he just led Gagarin Cup runner-up Ak Bars Kazan in scoring. However, time has pretty much run out on the 27-year-old's chances at making any sort of NHL impact, as teams just haven't been willing to give the 5-8 center a shot. Sheng Peng

June 2013- Azevedo finished his season with Lukko Rauma of the SM-Liiga (Euro-League). He tallied 20 goals and 38 assists on the regular season and 10 goals with eight assists in the playoffs. Although the Kings still own the rights to Azevedo, an NHL career does not look promising at this point. At 25, and bouncing from the AHL to the European Leagues, it is unlikely we Azevedo ever have a spot on the Kings bench. Jimmy Tarzia

July 2012 – Azevedo was a late blooming junior player drafted in his overage year. He is a wizard with the puck and has a great knack for finding openings. In 2007-08 he won just about every award possible for an OHL offensive forward under the sun including a bunch of CHL awards, the most impressive being: CHL ‘Top Scorer’ and CHL ‘Player of the Year’. His production dropped drastically when he turned pro in the AHL, but he still has posted good numbers in four years at Manchester. Azevedo’s major problem is his size, he is half a foot smaller than average Pro/NHL players, because of this he has troubles fighting off defenders and fighting for his own space (this is why he has to find openings rather than creating them). He is not a solid two way center and needs to work hard in this area of his game. Recently, he has signed in Finland for the upcoming season but the Kings did tender him a qualifying offer to retain his rights. Jason Banks

Fantasy Outlook:  E

Azevedo will keep scoring; NHL teams will keep ignoring him.
