Observations:

January 2014 – Cramarossa has had a rough beginning to his professional career in terms of offence. He has been working on transitioning to the AHL style, mostly playing fourth line minutes. In 31 games, he has posted a single goal and three assists. With only one year of steady junior production, it's hard to believe he will be relied on offence at the next level. –Kevin Won

March 2013 –  After two seasons with the powerhouse St. Michael’s Majors, Toronto-native Joseph Cramarossa was looking for his breakout season heading into his third year in the OHL. Having been overshadowed by offensive heavyweights Devante Smith-Pelly, Casey Cizikas, Justin Shugg and Jordan Mayer in his rookie and sophomore seasons, Cramarossa found himself in a top six position heading into camp in 2011-12.  Having played on such a strong team in the past, his role to that point had been a checking center. Beginning in his third year, Cramarossa’s play and production took off. In 90 regular season games for the Bulls over two seasons, he’s posted 72 points (25 goals, 47 assists) and 109 PIMs. So far this year he is the top scorer for the Eastern-Conference-leading Bulls, posting 56 points (17 goals, 39 assist) over 61 games. Although Cramarossa has started to really show his offensive capabilities just recently, he has always been a high-energy, quick and physical rover that possesses all the skills required to be a consistent threat offensively. In early March, Cramarossa signed a 3-year entry-level contract with the Anaheim Ducks.  Although the Ducks are stocked at the center position prospect-wise, Cramarossa still has a great shot at cracking the lineup in the next three-to-five years. Due to his high-energy style of play, it’s important Cramarossa works on staying focused on the ice. A few years in the American Hockey League will go a long way in maturing this player and making him more effective in all three zones.
