September 2017- Nattinen has been playing in Europe (SHL and Liiga) since 2014, and even though he had a career year with JYP (Liiga) last season (31 points in 46 games) there doesn't seem to be an NHL future here. Mike Barrett

October 2014 - Nattinen will play the 2014-15 campaign with Modo of the SHL. The Canadiens retained his NHL rights by giving him a qualifying offer. His NHL hopes are very slim at this point. Eric Daoust

May 2013 – Nattinen showed improvement in the 2012-13 campaign. He produced nine points and was plus-6 in 24 games before a shoulder injury suffered in December ended his season. From a fantasy perspective he remains a long-shot.Eric Daoust

December 2012 – Nattinen is still struggling to find offense in his game, but he has played much more responsible. He has put on five pounds, but more will be needed as he grows. Jason Banks

August 2012 – In viewing several games with the Hamilton Bulldogs, Nattinen at times showed flashes of brilliance and seemed to start games strong as a third liner, but far too often did he become invisible and was a non-factor. He did adjust to North America rather decently, and has a lot of upside he could push himself into. He needs to be better reading plays, getting to open ice and using his frame, adding meat will help Nattinen in net-front scrums. He also needs to assert himself better in games to open up space for his heavy shot. The upcoming season should be a much better gage on the type of player he and the Canadiens will try and mold into as he showed he could be very productive in Finnish Junior.

Fantasy Outlook: D
