December 2017 - Following his NHL debut late last season, Jonny has since spent time in the NHL and AHL due to his waiver exempt status. He is playing an average of 10 minutes a night in a fourth line role for the Kings. Jonny is better suited for a scoring role, so some may argue that his time is better spent with the Reign as a top contributor. –Jamie Barber

January 2017 – Brodzinksi is a fast rising Kings prospect, scoring 31 points in 39 games for the Reign, already surpassing last season's 28 points in 65 games.  He is the Kings leading goal scorer (17 goals) and is second on the team in points. His strong play earned him an AHL All-Star Classic invitation, and he is scorching hot right now, scoring eight goals in seven games leading up to the All-Star break.  The 23-year-old forward is getting power play time and has been earning more playing time as the season has gone on.  He has played at both center and wing for the Reign, showing versatility and solid two-way play.  He has forced himself up the depth chart, although he is probably more likely to get a few NHL games next season.  Philip Kamhi

October 2015 – Brodzinski is still getting his feet wet in Ontario, as he's been relegated to mostly fourth-line duty so far. What's promising is he's demonstrated a strong commitment to a 200-foot game, which bodes well for his chances to move up and play with the skilled skaters necessary to show off his scoring ability. June 2015 – Brodzinski has displayed admirable consistency at St. Cloud State, notching 22, 21, and 21 goals over the last three seasons, topping his team twice in that time. The 2013 fifth-rounder boasts, according to LA Director of Player Development Nelson Emerson, an "elite-level release," but let's see how other immature facets of his game grow in the AHL this fall. Fantasy Outlook: B+

With a big-league shot and a sniper's mentality, Brodzinski might be a bit of a "boom or bust" prospect—he either makes a top-six or doesn't stick in the NHL.
