September 2020 – Curiously, Bunnaman looked more competent playing with the Flyers than he did for the Phantoms. More than anything else, it would seem that when the Phantoms faltered he would as well. He returned from injury back in November and was up to speed much faster than anticipated. That being said, he leaves Flyers fans hopeful given how he performed at the end of the season. As long as Lehigh Valley does not struggle, and Bunnaman is not caught in the numbers game, a step forward for him is expected while playing in 2020-2021. Edric Joseph

August 2020 – Connor Bunnaman had some stop and go to his career trajectory the past year, having split time between Lehigh Valley and Philadephia respectively. He did better than his numbers would suggest. Lehigh Valley specialty teams left much to be desired all around so everyone took a hit there, Bunnaman included. That being said, while his even-strength play was better, it wasn’t a lot to brag about there. A silver lining to his season was that his neutral zone play took a step forward as such that he was entering the offensive zone with possession more often than previous, always a plus. He will need to be more assertive next season if he’s to make for a more reliable offensive weapon going forward. Edric Joseph

October 2019 – By the skin of his teeth, Connor Bunnaman made the opening night roster, having truly impressed management with his improved speed. At this time, he can be a sneaky play for hits and little more as he is brought into carry the piano rather than play it. Should your league also count takeaways and forechecking in some form or fashion he will also do well there, as a depth play. Edric Joseph

June 2018 – The captain of the Kitchener Rangers showed excellent leadership in leading his team deep into the OHL playoffs, but scoring-wise his production has been stagnant and is looking like a potential checking-line player. Dobber

April 2017 – Connor Bunnaman has signed his entry-level deal with the Philadelphia Flyers. He is a tough, physical forward that longtime Flyer fans will surely appreciate as he fits in nicely with their truculent hockey culture. Even with this development, he is expected to report to the Kitchener Rangers this fall for his final tenure of OHL hockey. Edric Joseph

August 2016 – Though Connor Bunnaman was only drafted a couple months ago, he’s been playing a pro style game for well over a year. Bunnaman excels at both ends of the ice, showing a commitment to the defensive zone, as well as inserting himself as a key piece in the Rangers offense. He plays a responsible game and is often found on the ice for the PK as well as key situations such as the last minute of the game. Next to Adam Mascherin, Bunnaman was able to be a contributor in the stats department as he chipped in sixteen goals and twenty-two assists through sixty-eight regular season games. Connor’s large frame has allowed him to go up against bigger competitors and is rarely taken advantage of physically. In the long run Connor needs to work on becoming a more explosive skater as well as his ability to create scoring chances in the offensive zone, rather than being just a complimentary player.  Brennen York
