Observations:

December 2015 – Looking to build on a successful season with Charlotte in 2014-15, Sutter signed a two-way deal with the Hurricanes organization in July. After finishing fifth on the Checkers in goals and seventh in points last season, Sutter has eight points in his first 22 games thus far in 2015-16. There are likely a couple players that the Canes will look to call up as an injury replacement before Sutter, who did get a short four game stint with the club last year.   Kevin LeBlanc

 

October 2014- After a short four game stint with the big club where he registered no shots on goal, and a minus-2 the inevitable has happened -Brody Sutter was sent down to Charlotte. Averaging only around seven minutes per game, his chances of staying with the Hurricanes this season werent ever that promising. – Andrew Ward

 

April 2013 – Sutter has been bouncing around between the ECHL and AHL this season. He is not playing overly impressive at any level, but he is learning how to survive and be useful in minor pro hockey. Way off the radar still, but will continue to monitor his progress. Jason Banks

 

April 2012 – The Canes’ took a chance on taking Sutter as an overage player when they drafted him, but the big winger may have the physical traits to become a steal. Sutter is huge and plays a hard working style of game. He isn’t overly physical but he can control the puck effortlessly using his big body. If he can improve his skating and starts to throw the body a bit more, he could become a fourth line player.

 

 

Fantasy Outlook: D-

Not overly skilled and doesn’t rack up a lot of PIM. Not a lot of fantasy value.
