March 2014 – Boston acquired the AHL depth, defenseman for the hardworking Carter Camper as an insurance policy due to the fact they have needed to pull a couple guys from Providence. He will never translate to an NHL guy, but he is cheap to keep around and has some upside for the farm teams he plays on. Jason Banks

 

April 2013 – Parlett is a third-year pro who brings a mix of offense and grit. He posted six goals and 23 assists in 66 games for the Connecticut Whale this season, while adding 85 penalty minutes. His 29 points were third most among Connecticut defensemen and seventh most on the team. In Springfield, he will be fighting for ice time with David Savard and Nick Holden, each of which have seen NHL time with Columbus due to injuries this year. Tim Lucarelli
