June 2017 — Richard’s first season in pro hockey saw his scoring total drop significantly from his impressive junior numbers. He went from scoring 37 goals and 87 points in 58 games to five goals and 18 points in 60 games. Last season he played with the Val d’or Foreurs (QMJHL) and this season he split time between the Milwaukee Admirals (AHL) and the Cincinnati Cyclones (ECHL). The Trois Riviers native did however play most of the season with the Admirals. Making an appearance in 55 AHL and only 5 ECHL games. Niko Salminen

June 2016 - After being drafted in the fourth round of the draft, Richard returned to Val d'Or in the QMJHL. He had a successful regular season, finishing 11th in league scoring with 35 goals and 87 points. An early playoff exit in the Q saw him to jump to the AHL with the Milwaukee Admirals and get three games of playoff experience in professional hockey. He will join the Admirals full time next year and will try to continue showcasing his offensive streak. Richard has shown an ability to put up points at the junior level however it remains to be seen if he can continue the trend as a pro. Donesh Mazloum

Fantasy Outlook: C-

Lacks ideal size but has a well rounded offensive toolbox. Not a surefire NHLer however.
