OHL Scoring Leaders
NYR – Nathan Aspinall, LW (Flint Firebirds)
OHL: 46GP – 24G, 43A, 67PTS

Let’s break down the season Aspinall has been having.
After being named Captain of the Firebirds, he opened the year with 10 points in his first six games, earning himself an entry-level contract with the Rangers. In November, he was named OHL Player of the Month after putting up 24 points in 14 games. Since then, he hasn’t slowed down, continuing his impressive production and currently leading the OHL in scoring with 67 points in 46 games. He also ranks third in the league in assists.
Aspinall is a natural leader. At 6-7, he’s often found around the net, screening goalies and deflecting pucks, but his game goes far beyond size. He has a remarkable ability to draw defenders in, then thread a precise pass to an open teammate. Despite his imposing frame, Aspinall’s puck skills are strong, and his point totals reflect more than just physical dominance. He protects the puck effectively, using a wide stance to absorb and shrug off checks, maintaining possession under pressure. Aspinall can also unleash a heavy shot capable of beating goalies from distance when the opportunity presents itself. The Rangers prospect is one to watch, as a player with his combination of size and offensive flair is exceptionally rare.

WPG – Kieron Walton, C/LW (Peterborough Petes)
OHL: 42GP – 30G, 33A, 63PTS
6th round, 2024; Height: 6-6; Weight: 212 lbs
Walton broke out a year ago with a top-10 finish in OHL scoring, posting 92 points over 66 games. That impressive campaign earned him an entry-level contract with the Jets and his AHL debut. While some questioned whether or not he would be able to replicate that breakout season, Walton has answered. With 63 points in 42 games, he currently sits second in the OHL scoring race. He is also one of just three players to hit the 30 goal mark and leads the league in shots on net by a wide margin.
On January 9th, Walton was traded from Sudbury to Peterborough as the Wolves shifted out of a playoff spot and the Petes looked to bolster their lineup. In acquiring one of the league’s most dangerous scorers, Peterborough added exactly what a coach dreams of: a 6-6 winger who plays
with pace and can finish. Walton brings in a blend of size, skill, and speed to a Peterborough team gearing up for a deep playoff run – an opportunity he has yet to experience in his junior career.

CHI – Jack Pridham, RW (Kitchener Rangers)
OHL: 46GP – 31G, 31A, 62PTS
3rd round, 2024; Height: 6-2; Weight: 185 lbs
Pridham has been the hottest player in the OHL over the past month. He’s piled up 20 points in his last 11 games, earning the OHL Player of the Month honours for January. The Blackhawks prospect is currently riding a 10-game point streak and sits third in total points league-wide. He also ranks second in goals scored (31), trailing only his Chicago teammate Vanacker. Pridham’s goal-scoring touch has been especially impressive, with three hat tricks over the past month and a half. He was at one point committed to attend Boston University for the 2026-27 season, but there have been reports that he’ll look to continue his development in the OHL if he doesn’t make the Blackhawks out of camp.
Pridham is a 6-2 winger who brings a strong combination of speed and offence. His puck skills and natural goal-scoring instincts allow him to consistently make an impact on the scoresheet. Whether he’s attacking off the rush to create lanes for teammates or finding soft spots around
the net to finish scoring chances, Pridham is a constant presence in the offensive zone. He’s also known for his high-end motor and direct, north-south playstyle. On the forecheck, he consistently pressures defenders and hunts for loose pucks, while his commitment to skating back helps shut down odd-man rushes against him. Pridham remains an intriguing prospect for the Blackhawks, with plenty of upside if he continues to impress at the junior level.
