Brian Hart, RW

Shoots: R

Height: 6-03

Weight: 215

Born: 1993-11-25

Hometown: Cumberland, ME

Drafted 2012 by Tampa Bay Lightning, 53rd Overall

Observations:

September 2017 – The Lightning released Hart from his contract. Brayden Olafson

June 2017 – Entering the final year of his entry-level contract with the Lightning, Hart will make a last-ditch effort to prove he is worthy of the Crunch this season after spending part of last year's campaign in Kalamazoo. The 2012 draft-pick has largely been a disappointment thus far for the Lightning organization. After impressing at Harvard, Hart struggled to transition his offense to the AHL, and even the ECHL. If Hart can embrace even more of a power forward role, he may be able to earn himself more time with the Crunch and potentially garner more attention from the Lightning management. Brayden Olafson

Fantasy Outlook: D-

Likely a career AHLer at best. Potential to earn emergency callups if he can refine his niche as a professional power forward, and earn coaches' trust. It won't be in the Tampa organization.
