Observations:

May 2016 – Following suit with Minnesota’s development philosophy with making good use of both their AHL and ECHL affiliates, Brady Brassart saw time with both the Iowa Wild and Quad City Mallards. At both levels, Brassart struggled to impose his will the way he did in the WHL playing against smaller opponents. He has a chance to make a living as a nice bottom-six presence with his well-rounded game but he still needs to adapt to playing against bigger athletes. Edric Joseph

January 2015 – A new acquisition to the fold, Brady Brassart comes to the Minnesota Wild organization with the proverbial chip on his shoulder. Known as the control subject on a scoring line for the Calgary Hitmen, Brassart’s getting used to life without the likes of Jake Virtanen to create space for him. Furthermore, Brassart has had a trying time playing for Iowa so far as he has grown accustomed to playing against smaller competition the past few seasons where he could afford to take more risks. That aside, Brassart has the makings for a future two way presence. As far as undrafted free agent signings go, overagers that lead their hockey team in scoring aren’t a bad place to start.  Edric Joseph

Fantasy Outlook: D

Has his work cut out for him, still three years or so away from being a viable checking line addition to the main roster.
