Observations:
February 2016 – The Blues swapped Lundstrom and a fifth-round draft pick this year to the Edmonton Oilers for sizable 25-year-old fellow Swedish goalie Anders Nilsson. Nilsson, a former New York Islanders' prospect, had a 10-12-2 record with Edmonton this season with a 3.14 GAA and a .901 save percentage. Lundstrom is toiling for the Elmira Jackals of the ECHL. The Blues needed someone to replace the injured Brian Elliott and back up Jake Allen. Mark Allan
June 2014 – Lundstrom is the typical goalie prospect that is big and talented but has many years of development ahead. His team, the St. Louis Blues, are an ideal destination for the young netminder as they are locked in with Brian Elliott and Jake Allen for the foreseeable future, allowing plenty of time for the younger guys to mature outside of the spotlight. In order to reach the next level as a prospect he will have to improve his focus and consistency. Eric Daoust
As with most young goalie prospects, Lundstrom is high-risk to own and is several years away from contributing.
