Observations:

February 2016 – Street went pointless in seven NHL games as a call-up, but produced well in the AHL with 12 points in six games. Unfortunately, the veteran has been on IR since November and will remain there indefinitely with a chest injury. Once he returns, the large selection of bottom-six choice for the Avs will likely keep Street out of the NHL unless injuries necessitate it. Hayden Soboleski

November 2015 – After a strong start to the season in the AHL (12 points in six games) and a lackluster start by the Avs, Street has been called-up for a chance in the bottom-six. Colorado has enough potential bottom-six candidates to keep things changing until they find the right fit, so fantasy value will only exist if me meshes well with his linemates (Everberg and Skille) and holds on tight to that spot. This is very possible, as he has played well with Everberg in the AHL so far this year, and he has a history playing with Skille dating back to their NCAA seasons with Wisconsin. Hayden Soboleski

Undrafted Street is in his fifth season in the AHL and has amassed 22 NHL games in that span, with two career assists to show for it. His AHL career has been much more successful, with a career high of 60 points in 58 games just two years ago. He has had opportunities to earn a fourth-line NHL job but so far he been unable to take advantage of these chances. His experience and leadership is clearly valued however, as he has served as an Alternate Captain of Colorado's AHL affiliates for two seasons and counting, and Calgary's affiliate team a season before that. Going back further to his NCAA career (five seasons in Wisconsin), he wore the C in his final year and an A for two years before that. His hard work makes him a player organizations enjoy having around, but his lack of NHL success means he will most likely stay where he until he shows results in one of his brief call-ups.

Fantasy Outlook: D+

A hard-working career AHLer with bottom-six NHL upside if he can ever hold on to a spot, and has shown he can produce when in the right situation
