Observations:

May, 2015 – Keegan Iverson spent his last three seasons with the Portland Winterhawks of the WHL. Portland is a stacked team and he hasn’t always gotten the quality ice time. Mostly playing on the third line, in 68 games he posted 15 goals and 39 points with 91 penalty minutes. The Minnesota native has a nice skating stride, good top-end speed, however his first step could be quicker. He has a strong build, loves to hit and punish defensemen to create turnovers. If he can add more muscle he could be a force. He has a simple offensive game with the puck on his stick, either driving to the net or making an outlet pass. Owns decent vision and a hard shot, but needs to work on his release. He is very good in the defensive zone – not afraid to block shots, back-checks deep, pressures the puck. Power forwards take time and the Rangers will be patient with him. Jozsef Kurtosi

Fantasy Outlook: C-

Has a chance to become a second-line forward, but his game can be effective on the a third line also. If he pans out on NHL level, he can be a good multi-category contributor in fantasy.
