Observations:

June 2014 – Coming into his 2014 NHL Draft season, Blake Clarke was considered a favourite to be selected in the 1st round. After a disappointing season that seen Clarke regress, he went unselected at the draft. Brendan Ross

August 2013 – Drafted 15th overall in the 2012 OHL Priority Selection Draft out of the St. Louis Blues U18 program, Blake Clarke stepped into the Battalion lineup and posted 19 goals and 51 points as a rookie, finishing second in team scoring by one point. Clarke is physical forward who possesses the strength and aggression needed to thrive as a power forward. His puck possession skills are maximized when he’s engaged along the boards and cycling the puck down low in the offensive zone. He creates his scoring chances by driving to the net with strong powerful strides and uses his quick hands and heavy shot around the crease to quickly jump on loose pucks. With the Battalion moving to North Bay, Blake Clarke will be counted on as one of the key offensive weapons giving him plenty of opportunity to show his skills for the 2014 NHL Entry Draft.  Brendan Ross
