Observations:
May, 2011 – Petri Vehanen has been regarded as one of the best goalies outside the NHL for years. He was chosen to be the best goaltender in the KHL in 2010 and also posted best GAA and best saving percentage there that year. He had the best statistics in the KHL also in 2010/11 and he was Team Finland’s number one goalie when they win the World Championship that season. Vehanen has been rumored to be signing an NHL contract with the Penguins for 2012/13. Look for him to play at least 25-30 games, he won’t sign unless he has guaranteed amount of games in his age.
Fantasy Outlook: C-
Has the skills to be a top level goalie, but is already quite old.
