Observations:
May, 2011 – Lindgren is a playmaking pivot with great hands and hockey vision. He needs to improve his skating and physical side to become an elite level forward. Lindgren had a breakthrough season in SM-liiga as a 18-year-old when he scored 37 points in 51 games and was chosen as the rookie of the year. He signed a three year entry level contract with the Stars and moved to play in North America in 2007. He played two good seasons in the AHL but didn’t get a decent shot in the NHL and moved back to Finland. He won the SM-liiga scoring race in 2011 scoring 66 points in 56 games and he was also voted in the All-Star Team that year. Lindgren has been rumoured to move to the KHL in 2012/13.
