Shoots: L |
Height: 6-0 |

Drafted: 2007 3rd round 63rd overall – Anaheim Ducks |
Observations:
October 2012 – At the end of last year he was acquired by the Jets in exchange for Riley Holzapfel. Macenauer was a depth acquisition for Winnipeg, but can also be looked at as a stabilizing move for the St. John’s Icecaps. He was re-signed to a two-way contract and has been playing on the third line. His production has been limited to only two goals in eight games, but with Alex Burmistrov playing in the AHL, Macenauer’s ice time has seen a small reduction and he is filling a more defensive role than the two-way play he is accustomed to in the AHL. Jason Banks
March 2012 – Macenauer will not be looked upon for a scoring touch, rather to be a specialty man of winning face-offs, stopping the opponent, and occasional goals. He played four seasons in the QMJHL before heading to the pros the following year and developing his game in the ECHL. Played a handful of games last season with Ducks and recently was signed over to the Jets organization in February 2012.
Fantasy Outlook: D+
Macenauer is a speedy, defensive minded player who will be a bottom six forward.
